No refunds, no returns
This book, in its entirety has been about what to look for while in courtship with another. Paying close attention to signs, investigating them and asking the right questions are strongly advised BEFORE marriage. Do the work up front, now before getting married for your best chance of happiness.
What if they won’t talk?
If you try to get to know your potential spouse and they won’t open up and talk with you, take this as a serious sign. Either they have something to hide or they have trust issues. Whatever the case, it will take quite a bit of heartache to get to know them. It is best to leave these types of people alone. Their needs are beyond your expertise and besides you are not running a rehabilitation, recovery or restoration center. If this person has issues, leave them alone to work it out on their own. You cannot change anyone or force them to seek help.
There are many other people who are willing to connect with you and love you. Get out. Do things. Meet people and you will encounter them.
